Glenn Wheeler is a lawyer, journalist and Indigenous rights activist.

Born in the Mi’kmaq community of York Harbour, Glenn has lived in Toronto for many years but maintains close contact with his home community, where he has a cabin that he visits often.

Glenn is Ontario legal counsel for a national trade union and represents union members on matters such as wrongful termination.

Before becoming a lawyer, Glenn was a professional journalist. He was associate editor of the Toronto urban weekly NOW for more than a decade, and has also written for The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star, among others.
